304L has very high toughness at sub-zero temperatures also. If we conduct impact test at 0 degree C in Lab, impact sample will bend instead of breaking.
304L is generally used in
1. Liquid nitrogen storage tanks
2. Cryogenic rocket engines (ISRO)
3. SpaceX SHS parts are also made of 304L
